Choose Your Covenant

It just amazes me that people today in the church would rather live under the Old Covenant. I’m not even talking law versus grace here. I’m talking about living as if we are outside of God. That He is far off, unapproachable, and scary. That He lives in heaven. That we must “break through” to be in His presence. That the anointing comes and goes. That we must invite Him in. That we still desire to dwell in His house forever. That there are sacred moments and the rest is secular and “normal”. That we act one way when we are in “meeting mode” and another at all other times. That we think we have to maintain a level of passionate pursuit of Him or we will miss something. Papa is so good He meets you where you think you will find Him. Because He loves you so much.

But saints, if you are living that way, you are missing the best. He is IN you at all times. He is as approachable as your own heart. He is not scary. Heaven is wherever you are. Jesus broke through the veil 2050 years ago. The Holy Spirit came and remained at Pentecost. He never leaves you. You cannot invite someone in who is already in. You are His house. Everything is sacred. Be genuinely you no matter what the context is. He pursues us, we don’t pursue Him. Study the New Covenant. Learn what the inheritance is that we already have. No chasing needed! Read John 17 over and over until it becomes part of you. You will soon be weary of teachings about passion and chasing. Read Hebrews over and over until it’s part of you. Break off those Old Covenant religious mindsets. Be free. Truly free!
